Not able to open the door without much effort because the garage door spring broke late last evening.
Arrived early at the customer’s home after he called to schedule a spring repair service in the previous night. Brought a number of different springs to ensure we had a matching replacement for the customer’s garage door. Positioned door on a ladder and removed the broken spring. Checked cables to ensure no additional damage. Installed new garage door spring in place of the broken unit. Tested tension of the door to balance it. Lubricated new spring for good measure.
